Montgomery Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, small animal practice, set along the beautiful Wallkill River.

We are looking to add a superstar, full time receptionist to our team. At least one year of customer service experience is preferred. Experience in a veterinary setting is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.

We are a busy practice with high client traffic so great communication with clients and team members is crucial.

Happy, dependable, multitasker, love for animals and helping people will do really well in our clinic.

In this position you will:

  • Be the face of our practice with the first and last impression our clients receive.
  • Answer and make phone calls.
  • Respond to and send text messages and e-mails.
  • Scan and file documents.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Check clients and their pets in for appointments and accompany them into an exam room.
  • Take brief medical history to help veterinary assistants when needed.
  • Process payments.
