Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a genuine smile and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage the reservation system, seating guests promptly and efficiently, and maintaining an organized seating chart.
- Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed of the status of their table.
- Anticipate and address guest needs, such as special requests or accommodations.
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant and its offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and lobby area.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, bar area and restrooms.
Qualifications:
- No previous experience required; we provide on-the-job training
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willing to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
- Willing to work in a hot and noisy environment.
