Customer Service 3PL

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Answer phones and respond to customer requests via phone or email
• Proficiency in assigned operating systems used (Wolin DaVinci, SAP, Varsity, CIMS, Royal 4, Prophesy TMS, QuickBooks, and/or Tai TMS)
• Data entry of all shipping and receiving documents; creation of Bills of Lading, Pick Tickets, Inventory reports, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels through efficient data entry of shipping and receiving documentation
• Communicate with Warehouse Manager and/or Warehouse personnel regarding daily workload and planning
• Communicate with sales team and sister companies regarding inventory, transportation and warehousing issues
• Communicate with outside carriers for scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicate with Office Manager, Operations Manager or HR for office supply needs
• Communicate with Office Manager, Operations Manager or HR for personnel issues (vacation days, sick days, tardy and any other office issues
• Possible warehouse billing responsibilities
• Assist in training of new office personnel
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Office Manager or Operations Manager
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn multiple software applications.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type minimum of 30 words per minute
• Professional knowledge of general warehousing operation and transportation related policies and procedures. Some transportation background preferred.
• Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- 2-4 yrs clerical experience in a 3pl warehouse environment
- 2-4 yrs data entry experience
- Computer literate - Word / Excel etc.
- W.M.S experience a plus
- Bi-Lingual a plus, not required
