- if they are in 40 miles of an office they are tied to that office
- can be remote and has offered remote in the past
Needs to know how to do it and has done it (hands on), but just I have lead and directed a team who has done this; not looking for what "we " did but what "I " did

manage 3 people; everything they do is about recertifications

About the role
As the IAM Principal Access Administration, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our identity governance and administration program, with a specific focus on access (re)certifications. This role requires a deep understanding of IGA principles, industry best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In this role you will need to:
• Perform information gathering processes to identify any toxic access combinations. This involves reviewing entitlements and role data, role-entitlement mapping, user access, job functions, application functions, and permission to determine SoDs.
• Design, define, and recommend mitigating controls that need to be implemented to address critical risks associated with user access. This may involve recommendations for changing user access privileges, implementing monitoring controls to detect unauthorized access, or implementing two-factor authentication.
• Develop SoD rulesets, remediation, and mitigation control.
• Lead role discovery/engineering exercises, which includes but not limited to - information-gathering and data analysis (reviewing entitlements and role data, role-entitlement mapping, user access, user job functions, etc.)
• Responsible for managing, overseeing and partnering with ***'s managed service provider to ensure the completion and delivery of IAM application and platform access (re)certifications.
• Manages the planning, tracking, and follow-up of access (re)certifications to ensure established timelines are met.
• Responsible for taking a "hands on " approach when necessary to ensure access (re)certifications are completed as expected.
• Lead the design and implementation of access (re)certification process enhancements and modifications.
• Partner closely with application, platform, IAM, Security, Risk, and Audit teams as necessary to ensure access (re)certifications are completed as expected.
• Monitor certification requirements to ensure alignment with business and regulatory needs.
• Partner with regulatory bodies to ensure evidence is supplied when requested.
• Assist with developing and maintaining IAM related policies and procedures focused on access (re)certifications.
What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in a Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 12+ years of IT experience with 8+ years experience as an IAM access administration analyst or in a similar governance role.
• In-depth knowledge of access (re)certification processes, principles, and best practices.
• Experience with leading IGA tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to identity management (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Strong background in process analysis and improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems using critical thinking.
