Metrology Technician

We are seeking a talented Metrology Technician to lead operations of inspection, gauging, repairing, and troubleshooting measurement equipment.

This professional will play a key role in the modernization of production within a revamped facility.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Result oriented and self-driven. Can learn fast and perform duties independently with minimal support.
• Reads and understands technical blueprints in order to determine measurement specifications required for the specific product.
• Writes / Edits CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine) programs on current parts, new parts, assist with supplier correlation issues with measurements.
• Has some basic GD&T training/knowledge
• Performs full layout on parts based on blueprint requirements.
• Maintains an inventory of repair and replacement parts needed to ensure proper functioning of all gauging and measuring equipment.

What We Are Looking For
 

• High School Graduate plus 2 years of related technical courses or equivalent in experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
