Lead Carpenter

We are an established, award-winning, design-build remodeling company in Central MA with plenty of work and growth opportunities for the right individual. We seek to hire an experienced Lead Carpenter to work on our remodeling projects in the Central MA area. Our primary focus is high end Kitchen & Bathroom Projects. If you are not a true Finish Carpenter experienced in crown molding and wood scribing please do not apply.

The individual we seek must be responsible, mature, clean cut, goal driven and have 10 or more years remodeling / finish carpentry experience, has a valid license with truck and tools, a great can do attitude and most of all is a team player with a positive mindset. Unique abilities provided by you;

• Well-rounded building and carpentry skills: can work from building plans and blueprints and meet the needs of our clients.
• Excellent technical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Can meet or exceed expectations running projects on budget and completing on schedule
• Layout and install stairs, doors, windows and all aspects of finish carpentry
• High end cabinetry and trim installation
• Measure cut, or shape wood, composite, fiberglass, drywall and other materials
• Solid understanding and ability with residential framing.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework and adjacent structures
• Ability to diagnose and remedy older structures in need of repair or renovation.
• Works safely at all times and wear company provided safety gear as required.
• Maintain and complete any and all company required paperwork related to the project.
• Instruct and direct laborers and subcontractors as needed. It is desirable that you have a Construction Supervisor License although it is not required. As long as you meet the requirements above you will be considered.
• Tech savvy.
• Can run a job while maintaining budgets and schedules.
• Has excellent communication skills and works well with homeowners in the high end remodeling segment
