Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the various business unit stakeholders, Executive Team, pricing, KPI tracking, variance analysis and forecasting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to review financial performance & update forecasts/budgets.
  • Analyze financial results, distilling key business metrics and trends to support business unit needs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various business leaders to understand the financial drivers to create standardized pricing for software and services products.
  • Work with stakeholders to review pricing models and help standardize & streamline the overall pricing approval process.
  • Develop the metrics to track all pricing requests within the organization.
  • Complete ad hoc reports or analysis in support of stakeholder activities and special projects
  • M&A support
  • Support integration of acquisitions into Avenu financial systems
  • Executive Financial Presentations
  • Financial Statement analysis and forecasting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • 2-3+ years’ relevant experience
  • Prior M&A or treasury experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent financial modeling and presentation skill
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate within diverse teams from various organizational levels
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple concurrent efforts
  • Ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines, and a roll up your sleeves mindset to get any job done.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to proactively work with functions across the organization.
  • Team player who is also an independent thinker and problem solver
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to work on complex business issues with minimal supervision.
  • Well organized to provide M&A support.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer.

Physical Demands:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer/copy machine
  • This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
