Multiple locations - opening on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Aegis Worldwide is actively seeking maintenance technicians for a client in the Chicagoland area.

 

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues and resolving them.
  • Installing or taking apart machines, equipment, or devices and removing and/or replacing defective parts.
  • Checking blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance of repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary Industrial equipment including CNC machines, brake presses, Time savers, welders, suction units
  • Small electrical repairs (i.e., control panels, outlets, changing light, bulbs)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience
  • Industrial manufacturing experience
    • Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
