PrideNow is hiring an experienced Production Manager This is a direct hire, salaried position for one of our automotive supplier clients in Georgetown, KY.

Shift: 2nd shift hours M-F, flexibility to work OT and weekends as needed based on production needs


Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of all manufacturing day-to-day activities on 1st Shift to ensure quality assurance throughout the production process so all items are produced and delivered according to schedule and in compliance to all requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations and ensure these safety requirements are being followed by 1st Shift employees.
  • Ensure all production related activities are completed on-time and in compliance.
  • Oversee the production schedule to ensure customer orders are incorporated into the schedule and delivery requirements are met.
  • Verify quality of product. Identify any problems and lead Production in the investigation with Quality to determine root cause for those issues.
  • Lead process for achieving production efficiency and productivity. Set goals and develop action plans to achieve production targets.
  • Oversee system used to inspect and maintain production equipment to ensure operational and help facilitate any scheduled maintenance needed on 1st Shift.
  • Communicate with procurement team to ensure materials are available when needed
  • Manage departmental objectives. Recommend processes and improvements to achieve these goals.
  • Manage departmental budgets by tracking production costs. Recommend processes and improvements to reduce costs.
  • Manage changes and communication across all departments to ensure proper workflow.
  • Motivate, support, and provide guidance to Production direct reports.
  • Maintain employee attendance records and PTO approvals

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Five plus years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70k-$78k annually at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other sponsored benefit programs offered by this client
