Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Summary: The General Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to pediatric and general patients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children and be able to create a positive dental experience for young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine dental examinations and cleanings.

  • Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, gum disease, and other oral health problems.

  • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.

  • Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Ensure a friendly and supportive environment to alleviate children's dental anxiety.

  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care.

  • Stay updated with the latest dental technologies and practices.

  • Adhere to all dental regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.

  • Valid state dental license.

  • Experience working with children is highly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage and alleviate dental anxiety in young patients.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
