CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Pittsburgh, PA

CFS is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the leadership team of one of our top investment firm clients. This role offers an environment where your financial expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills will make a significant impact. The successful candidate will be a strategic financial leader with a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, and overall financial management.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

  • Spearhead financial strategies aligned with the firm's objectives, driving sustainable growth.
  • Lead and navigate complex Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) processes with precision and strategic foresight.
  • Evaluate potential investment opportunities, conducting thorough financial modeling and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with legal and executive teams to ensure smooth and successful deal execution.
  • Oversee comprehensive financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Champion risk management initiatives, fortifying the firm against potential challenges.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA required.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including deal sourcing, negotiation, and execution.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
