NH Job Corps is seeking a qualified individual and a passionate educator who can make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will teach in a specialized training program that equips our students with the skills to immediately contribute to the field of their chosen technical trade, setting them on a path to a fulfilling career.

As an Academic Instructor at NHJC, you will play a pivotal role in our students' futures. You will coordinate courses, course delivery, and program activities, leading to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced technical training. Your guidance will be instrumental in shaping their career paths.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school required
  • A valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver is required.
  • Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred
  • Department of Labor approval required

Job Corps is the country's largest nationwide residential career training program and has been operating for over 50 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.

At Job Corps, we believe in providing comprehensive support to our students. They can access rooms and boards while honing their skills in specific training areas for up to three years. We help students complete their education, obtain career technical skills, and gain employment. We also provide transitional support services, such as finding employment, housing, child care, and transportation.
