Join our community-focused medical teamlocated in the heart of Macomb, Illinois. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to assist in the dispensing of medications and provide exceptional service to our patients. This role is vital in ensuring the health and well-being of the customers we serve.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
  • Manage inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and verify deliveries for accuracy.
  • Process prescriptions using computer software, ensuring precise input of data and accurate dispensing.
  • Engage with patients over the phone and in-person, answering inquiries and assisting with prescription information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area, complying with health and safety policies.
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries, demonstrating confidentiality and financial accuracy.
  • Support pharmacy operations by complying with all regulatory policies and procedures.

Pharmacy Hours:

  • Monday - Friday:9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Saturday/Sunday:9:00am - 5:00pm

Shift:

  • Rotating 8 hour shifts.
  • Rotating weekends, nights and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Retail pharmacy experience.
  • Willing to be cross trained in LTC and inpatient.
  • ILpharmacy technicianlicense.
