While working this job, you will be in daily contact with some of the most down to earth people in the Austin area, so a positive attitude is a must in this position.

Alive Water is looking for a team member who has delivery driving experience, possesses leadership qualities, and are able to work independently. 
Responsibilities 
  • Pick up, load/unload water jugs in provided van and carry (2) 28 lb. glass jugs (with handles) up/down stairs and/or long distances.
  • Transfer water pallet/s into van using a forklift
  • Perform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed driving logs which includes work periods, rest periods, and fuel expenses.
  • Comply with all company policies and driving laws.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and routes.
  • MUST answer phone for job related calls.
  • MUST be a team player with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a truck or delivery driver is preferred, but not required.
  • 6+ months experience using a forklift.
  • Familiarity with GPS systems and maps when GPS/network service is unavailable.
  • Compliant with all driving laws and regulations.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Punctual.
  • Dependable.
  • Problem-solver.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Have a smartphone
