Welder/Sheetmetal Fabricator

Welder capable of TIG welding thinner sheet metal both stainless and aluminum. Will also have some knowledge of fabrication. This position works under the shop foreman in our shop. This is a 5 day, 8 hour a day, 40 hours a week, with minimal overtime or weekend work.

Skills: welding background, especially with TIG, follow directions, Communication, attention to detail, self starter.

Responsibilities include: working  as s team to complete projects on time and within budget all while working safely., filling out time cards accurately, following instructions.

Physical demands: standing, walking, climbing, crouching, stoop, kneel, bend, working at heights, able to lift up to 70 lbs., operating tools, grinders, polishing equipment, welding out of position, able to work five, eight hour days per week.

Qualifications: GED, Vo-Tech or trade school degree a plus, 1 year fabrication experience, ability to pass a TIG weld test, ability to follow simple instructions, basic math skills associated with this trade, have basic hand tools, Valid PA Drivers License.
