Hope Hospice & Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of end-of-life care, is seeking a dedicated professional Full-Time Hospice Liaison & Marketer (Mon thru Fri, approximately 40 hours per week) to join our team. 

Our purpose is to ensure the highest quality of life for our patients and their families by providing compassionate care, comfort, dignity, support, and hope. We are just 1 of 2 hospice agencies in all of Southern CA to be designated by CMS (Center of Medicare Services) as a 5-Star Quality Hospice Agency, and currently in our 4th consecutive quarter achieving this rank .

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides accurate and timely documentation of all marketing activities to the General Manager as requested.
• Identifies, develops, and maintains positive working relationship with referral sources.
• Participates in the creation and implementation of a strategic marketing plan.
• Organizes and provides education to the community, referral sources and facilities.
• Demonstrates ability to manage several responsibilities simultaneously and meets productive standards of the organization.
• Responds to inquiries and requests for hospice information in a timely manner.
• Follows through on referrals for evaluation and/or admission to hospice program.
• Explains the hospice program to patients, family members, and other referral sources in an accurate, complete and thorough manner.
• Verifies and completes admission and financial information on the referral intake form
• Manages and maintains social media accounts

Position Qualifications

• At least two years experience in health care marketing, preferably in hospice care operations.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Knowledge of hospice requirements including Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance guidelines.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.

Other Qualifications:

• Personal car for travel in good working condition and valid driver’s license. Carry personal auto liability insurance coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work or related field preferred.
