North Jersey Electrical Contractor is currently seeking an Experienced Electrician / Helper

Elite Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and be proficient in a wide range of electrical tasks, comfortable working independently as well as on teams, and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Company is based out of Passaic & Morris County, NJ areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct electrical service upgrades and service panel changes as needed.
  • Perform system safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Install electric car chargers and maintain existing installations.
  • Handle generator installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Work on lighting systems, including installation and repair.
  • Lead teams on various electrical projects.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety standards, codes, and regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an electrician.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and codes.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of electrical equipment and hand tools.
  • Must possess own hand tools.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Responsible, reliable, and professional demeanor.
