Captains Needed

Pure Florida is a family-owned company located in the heart of Naples at Tin City,  We offer an array of water excursions, from sightseeing tours, deep sea/coastal fishing charters to dolphin watches and boat/jet ski rentals.  We're searching for a couple of USCG captains with solid experience to guide our diverse range of tours.  Our fleet comprises of a variety of vessels, from powered catamarans to our innovate jet-powered head boat.  The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience to the table, along with a valid USCG license, CPR/First aid certification and the ability to pass a drug screening.  

Fishing Captain

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic fishing captain with a strong fishing background and familiarity with local waters.  The ideal candidate will lead daily fishing trips providing guidance and assisting with all skill levels.  We're looking for someone who is mechanically inclined to assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting with occasions arise.  If you're an experienced captain who enjoys providing top notch excursions for guests we would love to hear from you.  

Eco/Sightseeing Captain

We're looking for a customer-oriented captain to oversee our sightseeing and dolphin watch/eco cruises.  This role involves heavy customer interaction and multiple trips per day, providing an opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and passion for the marine environment.  

Captain Duties Include but not limited to

1. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on the vessel

2. Effectively communicate safety procedures during charters to ensure well-being of all guests

3. Deliver exceptional customer service to foster repeat business

4. Maintain cleanliness of the vessel

5. Supervise and manage on board crew

6. Identify/Report and assist with any mechanical issues with the vessel promptly

7. Demonstrate a strong grasp of maritime regulations

8.  Keep accurate records and conduct drills to ensure compliance
