Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Job Summary:

The CNC Saw Operator will specialize in handling stone materials such as marble, quartz, and granite. Responsible for setting up and operating manual saws to cut the material to customers' specifications. This role will support all CNC operations in the facility, collaborating with machinists to produce quality finished parts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • - Produce quality parts in a timely, safe, and efficient manner under supervision
  • - Conduct set-up changes, first article inspections, and load parts using overhead lifting equipment
  • - Read blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and determine feed and blade speed requirements for various stone materials
  • - Deburr, polish, and stamp finished parts as needed
  • - Calculate cut lengths for stone bar feed jobs
  • - Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area, perform basic equipment maintenance, and follow safety protocols

Facility Responsibilities:

  • - Follow dispatch report for job sequencing
  • - Ensure high-quality product meets specifications
  • - Maintain area and equipment cleanliness
  • - Manage workflow efficiently
  • - Adhere to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity measures
  • - Follow company policies and work safely in the shop

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • - High School Diploma or GED
  • - 1 or more years of relevant stone material working experience required
  • - Prior knowledge of forklift/overhead crane operation

Job Requirements:

  • - Knowledge of basic math, blueprints, and conversions
  • - Familiarity with measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools
  • - Strong work ethic and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

  • - Normal manufacturing environment with occasional lifting of materials and products up to 40 pounds
