Restaurant Manager with Bartending Expertise (Indian Cuisine Experience a Plus)

We are seeking a highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at our Restaurant, a vibrant Indian restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and successful service for both our guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant's front-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee guest satisfaction, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere that meets or exceeds our high standards.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and productive work environment for the entire team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized restaurant environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Manage restaurant inventory, including liquor and beverage stock.
  • Develop and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and other critical financial documents.
  • Coordinate with the chef on service needs and ensure smooth kitchen-to-front-of-house communication.
  • Bartend during peak hours, showcasing your exceptional beverage service skills.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Indian cuisine.
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house procedures, staff management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems.
  • Proven bartending experience with a strong knowledge of beverage service.
  • A passion for Indian cuisine (a plus, but not mandatory).
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
