Seeking Licensed Massage Therapist to work in South Tulsa at Reactivate Chiropractic & Rehab. Our current LMT is booked full and we need additional help to catch the overflow.

There are options for employment as W2 or Independent Contractor. We can discuss options in person.

As W2 employee, you will work during our normal business hours Tues-Sat. There will be a base pay to ensure that you are paid for time you spend at work. You will be given additional bonus for each massage on a per hour basis. You can keep any tips and will report this outside of your normal wages as we do not track for you. While not performing massage, you would be helping out around clinic: answering phones, scheduling, helping with therapies, helping with documentation, etc. If you are an employee, you cannot see any patients outside the clinic. You cannot take any patient info with you. We will provide patients for you and you and cannot have any position that might lead to unfair competition (i.e. see one of our patients at a different location and take business away from us). We would provide everything for you in this scenario. This is a good option for someone starting off that does not have a large patient load. It guarantees a decent level of income.

As an independent contractor position, you would not help at the clinic, but would have to rely on a patient load to sustain you. We take care of all costs and equipment (cream, tools, room, table, billing, scheduling, front desk, etc.). You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you prefer. We let you know your bookings in advance. Payment for independent contractor is by the hour of provided massage. Payment is tiered plan: the more you see, the higher we pay you per hour. You keep 100% of your tips and we do not track or accept tips for you. Bonuses are available for massages provided for personal injury cases upon settlement. Partial payment is provided for no-shows and cancellations in certain circumstances. Patients that we bring you, you will not be able to see outside of the clinic. You can bring any existing clients here, and we do not restrict your access to those patients that you yourself acquire.

We are open Tues-Sat. Massage work will start off with a few hours a week and increase as we build your clientele. This is essentially part time work. We assume massage therapists work at a max of 20 hours a week, but you can do more if you wish. We will figure out a few days/times that work for you, then add additional time as needed.

Our clinic is founded on respect, trust, and transparency. We are trying to create an environment that is cooperative and synergistic. The atmosphere in the office is positive and happy. So, we are looking for the right person to add to that dynamic. You are welcome to talk with our current massage therapist about the nature of the work and his experience here to get a better idea. He currently makes a very decent living.

Medical Massage Certificate is highly recommended (we can help you to acquire this credential). Experience is appreciated, but not absolutely necessary. We will work with you on your anatomy and technique to become more proficient. Professional behavior is a must (from how you dress, to how speak to patients/staff, to your knowledge of your craft). You need to know your anatomy for this position. Doctor will recommend areas of concern, and you need to know the appropriate massage type in order to target these tissues. You will be quizzed on your muscle/fascia groups. So please brush up. Training will be provided to take you to the next level, but you must know the basics.
