Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBASIC PURPOSE:
Perform Strain Gage application and wiring for Force, Pressure, and Electronics assemblies
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
- Performs Strain gage application
- Wires Wheatstone bridges
- Performs Epoxy operations
- Evaluates and repairs Strain Gage and Wiring as needed
- Performs Microscope soldering
- Reads bridge parameters
- Completes PCB Amplifier Assembly
- Operates Strain Gage oven
- Manufactures cable assemblies
- Performs light mechanical assembly
- Ensures quality control by making adjustments as necessary to produce product
- Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs)
- Completes daily production logs
- Performs daily inspections on production equipment and tools; ESD, Calipers, DVM, Etc.
- Communicates with operators from other shifts
- Cleans and maintains work area (5S)
- Ensures product is assembled to required configuration
- Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions with no assistance
- Ability to add, subtract, and record data onto tabulation sheets
- Ability to receive verbal instructions and comprehend them
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing concepts a plus
- Computer literacy desired, but not required
