CAD Drafter & Technician

$1000 Retention Bonus after 90 days

$21/hour

Are you a skilled CAD professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for streamlining manufacturing processes? Look no further We're seeking talented CAD Technicians to join our dynamic team and drive efficiency through precise work order processing and optimized nesting.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer drawing requirements swiftly and accurately, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Master CAD functions like drawing modification and nesting, delivering high-quality outputs on time.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Optimize nesting strategies, minimizing material waste and maximizing cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Familiarity with 2D nesting software helpful (training provided).
- Expertise in converting 2D and 3D models across various file formats.
- Knowledge of the sheet metal industry, laser cutting, and brake press operations (fabrication experience a plus).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
