Express Employment is currently recruiting and accepting resumes for various DOT Driving positions

*DOT Medical Card*   *Valid Driver's License*  *Clean MVR*   *Updated Resume*

 

OBJECTIVE

  • Operate various trucks and other equipment for extended periods of time, over short distances, between company facilities or yards or between company facilities and customer/vendor sites to pick up, transport, and deliver freight.
  • Specific Goals and Priorities
  • Ensuring prompt, safe, and correct delivery of goods to the customer.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
  • Display consistent attention to safety in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Obtaining receipts or signatures for delivered products.
  • Assist in all aspects of warehousing, loading, unloading, securement, and delivery of products.

ACTIVITIES, TASKS AND FUNCTIONS

  • Loading and unloading of materials from trucks.
  • Verifying that quantities of materials for delivery are correct.
  • Verifying delivery instructions, routes, and timing from supervisor.
  • Maintaining logs as required.
  • Reporting vehicle service, defects, or repair status
  • Reporting of any accidents, traffic violations, or damages to the vehicle or delivered products.
  • Interaction with customer and vendor personnel on work/job sites.
  • Willingness to assist in other warehousing or inventory activities as requested.
  • Prompt return to paperwork and other materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Valid DOT MEDICAL CARD
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report
  • Valid Drivers License
  • At least two years commercial driving experience.
