Pharmacists needed for Tribe Health Opportunities

Dependable Staffing is currently hiring experienced Pharmacists

Rewarding opportunities are available for Pharmacists interested in serving Native American Communities in Northern Arizona. Positions include multi-week short and long term block assignments providing pharmacy services in outpatient settings. Current schedules are available 8-5pm Monday-Friday or 7-5:30pm, 4 work days/wk in Northern Arizona.

We offer competitive pay rates, housing and mileage compensation options available for travel assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient pharmacy care for all ages of the Native American population.
  • Read, Interpret and Dispense prescriptions, compute dosages, weigh and measure drugs. Mix and compound drugs.
  • Identification of therapeutic incompatibilities to avoid serious injury or death to the patient.
  • Instruct discharged patients on the proper use, actions, precaution and storage of their medications, and document patient health records.
  • Attend department meetings and other assigned meetings.
  • Supports compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Uphold all principles of confidentiality and patient care to the fullest extent.
  • Adhere to all professional and ethical behavior standards of the healthcare industry.
  • Interact in an honest, trustworthy and dependable manner with patients, employees and vendors.
  • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Performs other duties as required.
