Our company is seeking a skilled and dependable Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and finance with a focus on accounts receivable management in both general and job cost ledgers.

Primary Duties:

  • Strong knowledge of processing monthly AIA format pay applications to clients in a multiple project accounts receivable portfolio.
  • Exceptional knowledge in processing monthly AIA format pay applications from subcontractors in a multiple project accounts payable portfolio
  • Ability to analyze transaction data for accuracy, completeness, and determine proper corrections to the general ledger, job cost ledger, and accounts receivable and payable ledgers with accuracy
  • Experience with closing and reconciling accounts receivable to general ledger through month end closeout
  • Knowledge of Red Team Go and Sage 100 Contractors software is preferred but not required

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of accredited and relevant college courses
  • 2-3 years of construction accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
