Basic Overview: 

We are looking for a highly motivated Graphic Designer who has both a passion for the Chicago music scene and a love of the graphic space. In this role at Auris Presents, you will closely work with the team to bring to life designs at Auris properties like Radius, Prysm, Concord Music Hall, Smoke & Mirrors, & more. 

The individual will work closely day to day with our senior designers, marketing team, and creative director on the creation of unique designs that align with the different brand identity and objectives within Auris. They will be responsible for designing flyers for upcoming shows, creative social media campaign assets, & grow their skills across our Chicago venues and festivals. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Design Creation: Assist in the creation of a wide range of design materials, including but not limited to marketing collateral, print advertisements, branding assets, website graphics, social media content, animated flyers, and screen visuals. 
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency throughout all design projects, ensuring adherence to established brand standards. 
  • Concept Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions & give insight for fresh design ideas and impactful solutions for day to day design work.
  • Research: Stay current with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to elevate fresh perspectives to the team.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate as part of a creative team using established creative workflows & working on upcoming show announcements, social content and visuals. 
  • Deliver files optimized for web, digital, and print deliverables, including using a color-managed workflow 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong design/creative portfolio 
  • Passion for live music 
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design principles, layout, and typography. 
  • Proficient Mac user. 
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Past work in an in-house creative team environment 
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation 
  • Proficiency in software such as HTML5, SketchUp, Visio, and Jira (not required)
  • Experience working creatively within brand systems and industry standards
