Construction Foreman

Architectural Steel Metal

Growth oriented, well established, company has an opportunity for a Construction Foreman. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of at least three (3) years’ experience in Architectural Sheet Metal Construction supervision and have a take charge attitude managing the crew and scheduling materials and equipment. The right candidate will focus on productivity in site work, budgets, scheduling timelines, safety, and quality. In addition, you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and team-oriented skills.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

• Responsible for the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
• Leading and managing the on-site installation team.
• Train new and existing team members.
• Coordinating suppliers and overseeing all work on site.
• Ensuring quality standards are met.
• Responsible for tracking equipment, materials, and projects.
• Maintaining records for payroll reports and change orders
• Working / communicating with inspection authorities regarding approvals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience in a leadership role in commercial and residential Architectural Sheet Metal construction.
• Experienced in operating lifting equipment.
• Must be an exceptional multi-task capable person.

· Problem-solving skills and the ability to make important decisions under pressure.

· Ability to delegate effectively.

· Excellent time management skills.

· Detail oriented, reliable, and punctual.

• A driver’s license with a good driving record is required. CDL Class A preferred
