Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Copy Shop Customer Service Specialist to oversee the daily operations of our copy shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service, maintaining equipment, and meeting customer needs efficiently. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations of the copy shop, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
    • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily reconciliation.
  2. Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist customers with their copying, printing, and related needs.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
    • Offer guidance on services, products, and pricing to customers.
  3. Equipment Maintenance:
    • Ensure all copying, printing, and finishing equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  4. Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory of paper, ink, toner, and other supplies.
  5. Sales and Marketing:
    • Promote copy shop services to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional activities.
    • Track sales and generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Quality Control:
    • Ensure all printed materials meet the highest quality standards.
    • Perform quality checks on finished products before delivery to customers.
  7. Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, sales, and expenses.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on shop performance.
    • Handle correspondence and communications related to shop operations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a copy shop, print shop, or related industry.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with copy and printing equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS365 and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment, up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity to operate copy and printing machines.
