Job DescriptionJob Description

The Industrial Mechanic does teardown of components, cleans and inspects parts, assembles and tests components from heavy mining equipment. This position also works on large gearing and bearings. Some sandblasting and painting required, crating and packaging parts and assemblies. This position helps with the field service crew when needed working in adverse weather conditions and working from heights. This position does not do mechanical engine work.

Required:

  • Strong emphasis on working safely
  • Candidate must have one year of experience in a Mechanical environment
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Strong work ethics
  • Team oriented
  • Self-motivated, possessing the ability to work with limited supervision and complete tasks

Preferred:

  • MSHA certification is desirable
  • Forklift operation
  • Overhead crane operation

Special Demands

  • Lift or Carry 75lbs
