Job Title: Electrical Foreman

About Us: We are an “open shop” commercial / industrial electrical contracting company.

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to perform, supervise and coordinate electrical construction on job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction management, with the ability to lead a team and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Plan and schedule work assignments, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to project schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to allocate resources and address project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Train and mentor electrical apprentices, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
  • Perform quality control inspections to verify work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed when needed, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of experience in electrical construction, with experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in the use of electrical tools and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred, OSHA 10 hour is required minimum.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
