Job DescriptionJob Description

$500 sign-on bonus (payable after 3 months)

Agility Orthopedics is seeking a Full time Medical Secretary for a busy Orthopedic Office. Candidate must be flexible, able to work independently, have experience in a medical office setting, be patient and have a kind with a friendly demeanor. Most possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, understand common medical terminology and workflows. EMR proficiency is a plus. This is a Float position and candidates will be cross trained on the Front Desk and Appointment Scheduler roles and will cover all roles within the office.

Provides administrative support to the provider team:

Schedules and maintains appointments. Answers and returns calls in a timely, courteous and helpful manner. Assists with rescheduling patient appointments. Will serve as the main point of contact for a given provider’s patients and the practice. Coordinates communication between providers and patients regarding questions about care. Completes insurance and disability paperwork. Order/ coordinate MRI’s, CT-Scans, EMG Studies etc. Maintains Physician schedules. Obtains authorization for STAT imaging and in-office visco injections.

Maintains consistent compliance with quality standards

Work collaboratively with all practice staff as one team.

· Other duties as assigned, including cross training in our front desk/reception and appointment scheduler roles
