✨BODY POSITIVE PERSONAL TRAINER✨

What began as an idea and a single client has grown into a large community, several trainers and staff in a fully commercial fitness space. We’re just getting started, so if being a part of this community sounds like a great fit to you, please read on and apply.

This position is part time (10 hours per week minimum) with and opportunity to grow to full time or your schedule’s capacity. Must be available Saturdays and 2-3 weekday afternoons/ evenings. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Accurately using Google Calendars to reflect training/ job schedule
  • Maintaining your roster of clients with professionalism
  • Arriving on time and consistently to sessions/ shift (Company provides sick pay and PTO for work/ life balance)
  • Preparing in advance a workout plan for each session
  • Providing movement coaching and/ or class instruction
  • Responding promptly (24-48hrs) to client and supervisor’s communication
  • Wiping down high touch surfaces after each session (Trainers are not responsible for janitorial cleaning)
  • All work duties are compensated, not just client face time. Prep time/ scheduled work time at the job is compensated.

 

Qualifications include:

  • Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification ( NASM, ACSM, ACE, etc.)
  • Current CPR/ AED Certification
  • Competency serving underserved populations or historically marginalized groups (will provide training and support in these areas)
  • Trans and Gender-Expansive Affirming, and willing to work with disabled people within the scope of a personal trainer
  • Preferred 4 year degree in Kinesiology, Bio-Mechanics or equivalent
  • We are willing to train the right candidate

 

Compensation

  • Starts at $16 to $35 per hour DOE
  • Part-time positions include medical, dental, vision and PTO
  • Full time eligibility begins at 21 hrs/ wk
  • Full-time positions include medical, dental, vision, PTO, reimbursement for work related education
