Are you an aspiring pet groomer who enjoys working independently? We are a high-quality mobile grooming business looking for a loving and detail-oriented pet bather in McKinney, Texas. You will be operating in a mobile salon where you get to create a positive work environment that suits you – no cages, barking, shouting, or drama.

Your job will be to drive to customers houses and communicate to them about their pets need. From there, it is all about loving the dog and using your talent to make him or her look their very best The dog goes back to his grateful owner and you’re on to the next client. In addition to being a pet bather you will also have an opportunity to help us out in other aspects of the company if you would like more hours. This could include, but is not limited to: van cleaning, van maintenance, pet sitting, pooper scooper, etc.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • We provide the van, the fuel/maintenance/repairs, the supplies, the towels, and the assignments.
  • You provide your own grooming equipment (clippers, blades, etc.) as needed for simple sanitary trims, nail clipping, and paw maintenance.
  • This position is expected to start out as part-time, then move to a full-time position.

COMPENSATION:

  • Your pay will be two-fold: commission for services provided and hourly for administrative tasks.
  • Commission is 25%-28% based on experience
  • Hourly rate is $14 - $16 per hour based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a friendly and positive attitude toward pets and their owners.
  • You have at least 1 year of professional experience as a bather.
  • You are at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and can pass a 50-state background check.
  • You have a good driving record.
  • You can provide three references who can speak to your character and professionalism.
  • You are a person who strives for cleanliness, excellence, and continuous improvement.
