Medical Assistant Certified

Seeking a full-time, qualified medical assistant to work at a small but busy family practice clinic in Trenton. Must be willing to work as a team, able to multitask, have excellent communication skills. Experience with EPIC preferred. Competitive benefits offered.
Responsibilities:
Perform basic clerical duties including answering phones, charting, maintaining records, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment
Assist with treatments/procedures ordered by physician, including but not limited to administration of medications, routine X-Rays, EKGs, collection and processing of lab specimens
Interview patients, record medical history and physical, measure vital signs, properly document information in medical chart, prepare patient rooms as needed
Instruct patients regarding preparation for tests and signing consent forms
Discuss lab and test results with patients in person, via email and over the phone with appropriate verbiage and phone etiquette
Comply with CLIA, OSHA, and other regulatory agency standards. Follow infection control and safety procedures.
Participate in in-service trainings as needed
