Chief Medical Officer Psychiatrist

As the Chief Medical Officer Psychiatrist specializing in inpatient adult/general psychiatry at our leading healthcare facility in Las Cruces, we are actively seeking a highly skilled professional for this full-time position. We offer a competitive salary package and excellent benefits to the right candidate.
Required: US Citizen or Green Card
Must Have:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry
- Medical Director Experience
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Chief Medical Officer, providing leadership and oversight to the psychiatric department.
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric care to adult patients in an inpatient setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Supervise and mentor psychiatric nurse practitioners (NPs) and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in psychiatric care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Psychiatry.
- Proven experience as a Medical Director in a psychiatric setting.
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in inpatient adult/general psychiatry.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Note:
- Full-time employed position with a Monday-Friday schedule.
- Weekend coverage on a 1:5 rotation and one overnight call per week.
- Psychiatric NP support available.
- Above-average base salary with a manageable caseload.
