In the SMIT training program, you will be exposed to different management roles, from Instructor Trainer (IT) to Customer Service Trainer to Manager on Duty (MOD), which will help you form a picture of all the opportunities available at Watermelon Swim. You will also receive training through meetings, enrichment activities, and on-the-job training in all aspects of management, such as resolving client issues, managing different personalities, and more.

Skills and Characteristics

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrated leadership experience for a minimum of 6 months, preferably working full-time hours
• Currently or previously employed or have volunteered to work with children for at least 6 months
• Currently or previously employed in a customer service position for a minimum of 6 months
• Previous experience in an education or sports environment is preferred, but not required
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification within the first 45 days of employment and lifeguard certification within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must be organized, reliable, and personable
• Possesses solid communication skills (verbal and written
