Summary

The ideal candidate will provide support to the lead teacher which includes working with children to provide a safe and nurturing environment for social and academic growth. Other preschool experience is a plus and future opportunities for growth are available.

Duties

• Keep the classroom organized.
• Reinforce lessons and classroom procedures
• Collaborate with other staff to plan and develop age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Ability to accurately document communication to parents, staff, and members of the administration team
• Organizing and maintaining a classroom environment that reinforces classroom management and a positive learning environment

Requirements

• Flexible and a team player that assists in maintaining and creating a positive work environment
• Knowledge of development and behavior patterns of young children
• Previous experience working with young children or enrolled in an early childhood education program

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
• Pursing an education in Early Childhood Education
• CPR/First Aid Certified
