The Houser Firm is seeking a local Paralegal for our Southlake office. Significant experience in estate planning drafting and probate is a major plus You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs. This is a full-time, flexible-schedule position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare sophisticated Estate Planning documents
  2. Prepare documents for E-Filing with courts
  3. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  4. Record and store client information
  5. Assist multiple attorneys with workflow integrations
  6. Monitor case status to ensure smooth processes
  7. Manage multiple attorney calendars
  8. Assist attorneys with calendaring hearings and meetings
  9. Track and calendar deadlines

​Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years experience in estate planning and probate preferred
  2. Familiarity with E-Filing in Texas courts
  3. Knowledge of litigation procedures is a plus
  4. Ability to prioritize and multitask
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Deadline and detail-oriented
  7. Firm grasp of Microsoft Office suite products
  8. Dependable, punctual, and professional
  9. Candidate must be highly detail-oriented, and organized
  10. Must be professional with clients, court, and coworkers
