Job DescriptionJob Description

Operate CMM by preforming set-up and making minor modifications to current programs. Develop and perform in-process and final inspection parts and assemblies as well as perform functional tests to final products. Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Store programs
  • Determine conformance of products based on data received from CMM
  • Report and document non-conformances, CARs, and continuous improvements
  • Coordinate and support all activities concerning the CMM
  • Proficiently utilize measuring tools, Excel spreadsheets, ERP system, and CMM software to include PCDIMIS/REVO Head
  • Follow work order instructions, visual aids, routers, and AS9100 processes
  • Assist in calibration, non-destructive testing, and certifications
  • Participate in quality audits
  • Support Quality Engineers with FAI development and submission
  • Lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects
  • Demonstrate safe work habits
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
  • Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints
  • Capacity to use a variety of quality measuring equipment such as, but not limited to: height gages, calipers, micrometer, radius gages, etc.
  • AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of Quality and CMM operating experience
  • MODUS programming experience preferred
  • Pcdims software experience preferred
