Job DescriptionJob Description

General Responsibilities:

· Assist in receiving and shipping stock and non-stock items for ensuring quantity, quality and adherence to specifications.

· Keeps warehouse, office and outside area safe, organized and clean.

· Performs daily warehouse inspections to ensure safe and continuous operation.

· Assists in performing physical inventories of the warehouse.

· Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed and inform manager of any potentially hazardous conditions.

· Inspect, pack and ship merchandise as required.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license, proof of automobile insurance and a good driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier (not “high risk” or worse).

· Prior driving/warehouse experience (min 2 years).

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Working knowledge of FedEx/UPS/USPS shipping methods.

· Excellent organization and communication skills with a passion for learning.

· Basic working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

· Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

· Ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms to lift objects up to 50 pounds. Must be able to safely tolerate the heat in the summer.

· Must be able to speak and read the English language.
