Accountant

Salary: $52,000+ DOE

Location: Copley, OH

 

My client  who is a major trade show exhibit producer in Northeast Ohio has an immediate opening for an Accountant. My client is seeking a dynamic self-starter with a passion for providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be involved with payroll processing, preparing financial reports and statements, general ledger and bank reconciliations, as well as general accounting administrative tasks. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll processing 

• Job costing

• Account reconciliations

• Bank reconciliations 

• Accounting clerical tasks

• Cover Accounts Payable and Receivable when necessary

• Assist the president with financial statement preparation and supplemental reporting

• Year end closing procedures

 

Key Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with 3 year's experience required.

• General Ledger Experience including account reconciliations and journal entries. 

• Job costing and payroll experience helpful.

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Computer/tech savvy

• Detail-oriented

• Multi-tasker

• Able to work independently and with a team

• Great communication skills

• Easily adapts to changing circumstances

• Takes initiative

• Problem Solver

• Enthusiastic
