We are looking for a Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments, issuing receipts, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and help us maximize customer satisfaction. Applicants must possess sound communication skills and friendly, team-oriented attitudes to gain employment. Workers must also feel comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for hours at a time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when necessary
  • Adhere to all liquor store policies and procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

 

Requirements

  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to stand for long hours, lift up to 50lbs, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of liquor products and brands is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
