ZSN Systems and Solutions are looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher to work on our school campus in Millbrae CA, for the Second Semester of the current school year of 2023-24. and for the coming School year 2024-25.

Special Education Teachers - 2 openings

2 elementary positions available to start ASAP.

  • 1@ SDC (mild/moderate credential)
  • 1@ Resource Specialist (Ed. Specialist or Mild/Mod credential)

Work year: ASAP - May 31, 2024

Hours: 8:00 AM- 3:30 (7 per day billable, plus 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Required:

  • Current CA mild/moderate or moderate/severe credential (print CTC credential page)
  • Must have CLAD and AAS authorizations
  • Driver's license with own transportation.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of current school district teaching experience
  • Experienced in Unique, Touch Match and Sonday curriculum

Caseload/Duties:

  • Small caseload
  • High adult: student ratio
  • Provide classroom instruction differentiated for each students learning needs and in accordance with IEP goals.
  • Case management for students on caseload
  • Set up, facilitate and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs
  • Conduct formal assessments.
  • Attend SPED trainings as requested
  • Collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
  • Manage, train and support assigned paraeducators

*Possible contract extension options:

19 day ESY program (8:00 - 12:30 - dates: 6/17-7/12)

24-25 school year contract renewal, if permanent teacher has not been hired.
