Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston, Inc.- Bookkeeper Position

Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains records of financial transactions by posting transactions in QuickBooks Online; ensures compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintains accounts receivable and accounts payable. 
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly and prepares cash flow reports.
• In conjunction with management, prepare and submit payroll to an external payroll company, ADP. 
• Reconcile payroll and post journal entry to QuickBooks online.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information for management, board, and tax preparers as requested.
• Notifies management of unemployment filings needing attention. 
• Prepares sales progress reports and updates staff at weekly staff meetings.
• Maintains prepaid expense, insurance, and depreciation schedules, and posts monthly journal entries.
• Prepares 941 reconciliation quarterly.
• Prepares and posts year-end accruals.
• Participates in yearly budget preparation.
• Prepares information and inputs 1099's into Track1099.

The bookkeeper position is part-time; hours fluctuate between 20-40 depending on the busy season.

Salary: $27-$33 per hour

Education and Experience Requirements;

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field 
• At least 5 Years of previous bookkeeping experience 
• Proficiency with Quickbooks Online Plus version.
• Proficiency with Excel
• Proficiency with the ADP Payroll System
• Ability to work independently and learn new systems and software
