Dunwoody Pediatrics is a family-centered, 7 physician, 2 mid level pediatric practice with offices in Dunwoody and Alpharetta. We provide the highest quality care to children - from infancy to adolescence - while maintaining a warm, loving and supportive environment for the whole family.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organizing and supervision of the operational and clinical duties of the Dunwoody location related to patient flow, efficiencies, provider productivity and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the day to day activities of the Dunwoody location and is responsible for the direct supervision, training, hiring, disciplining, actions and needs of all clinical staff at this location, as well as providing direct patient care as needed.

Expectations: The Clinical Supervisor will work diligently to meet goals and achieve success in the areas of provider productivity, patient/staff safety and patient satisfaction. The supervisor will be a member of the care team and work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise the overall operation of Dunwoody clinic, effectively managing clinical staff.
  • Provide direct patient care/phone triage as needed.
  • Assist in updating/creating clinical policies and procedures to be used practice-wide.
  • Support and develop all clinical staff. Hires and trains new clinical staff utilizing standardized clinical staff manual.
  • Monitor all staff on clinical competencies. Mentors, coaches and creates performance improvement plans as necessary.
  • Maintain clinical staff schedules. Monitor employees’ attendance and PTO. Responds to time off requests while ensuring staffing needs are met. Manage clinical staff overtime.
  • Regularly audit clinic workflows to ensure processes are in place and functioning to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians on clinical policies, procedures and quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • GA RN/LPN License in good standing with GA Board of Nursing.
  • Previous clinical experience in outpatient physician office required, pediatrics experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong information technology skills. Prior experience with electronic medical record required.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, staff and physicians.
