The Lead Solar Installer is an integral member of the operations and Installation team. The ideal candidate will lead an install team and work cooperatively with team members to successfully complete the installation of commercial PV solar systems safely and on time. Safe work practices and excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Create a Safe and Constructive work environment.
- Overall responsibility for the success of the project.
- Lead multiple crews.
- Ability to motivate teammates.
- Excellent communication with Company Management from arrival to project completion.
- Communicate job status data daily to operations management, and ensure timely and accurate completion of installation of all solar aspects of the Company Scope Of Work.
- Represent the Company as a field contact for the client.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
Skillsets Include:
General Construction or Carpentry Experience Required
- Must have ability to travel. **(This is a travel positon, travel is required)
- Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, hand tools, Electrical tools.
- Some computer skills (Microsoft Excell, Teams, etc.) desired but not required.
- OSHA 30 certification desirable - Conscientious about safety, knowledge of OSHA standards, and use of safety equipment as required by management.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest quality end-product possible is required.
- Organizational Paperwork skills are a must.
- Reliability and an excellent, positive attitude are essential.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
