We are looking for a dedicated HVAC/Maintenance Technician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties in our growing New Jersey portfolio The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail. This role involves working directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely and effective completion of all HVAC and plumbing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues with heating, cooling, ventilation systems, boilers, and plumbing systems promptly and effectively
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC systems and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Assist/handle replacement of motors, filters, and refrigerant
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions for HVAC system malfunctions and plumbing issues
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, inventory usage, and other relevant documentation
• When necessary, assist with snow plowing and snow removal activities

Required Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex HVAC issues efficiently
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong plumbing knowledge and skills
• Experienced in working with rooftop HVAC units
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in various environmental conditions, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong work ethic with a dependable and punctual nature.
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive heavy duty trucks (i.e. Silverado 2500)
