PrideStaff is currently looking for a qualified CNC MAINTENANCE MECHANIC for a manufacturing client located in Woodridge, IL.

As a CNC Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for all preventative maintenance and repairs of mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment (lathes, machining centers, grinders, drills, etc.).

Candidates without at least 4 years of relevant experience will NOT be considered

1ST SHIFT- 6:00AM-2:00PM

$26-$36 PER HOUR DOE

JOB DUTIES:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct problems on machines and equipment
  • Dismantle, inspect, remove, realign, and repair parts as needed
  • Move and install equipment such as mills, drill presses, lathes, broaches, presses, and conveyers
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Operate equipment such as hand hoist, drill press, saw, ladder, grinder, jack, and other heavy machinery and equipment
  • Work on equipment in ceiling of plan which is 25-30 feet in height
  • Operate lathe to grind and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
  • Machine alignment (turret tool, rotary milling motor orient position and ball screw replacement)
  • Welding and fabrication

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have AT LEAST 4 years of proven experience with machine maintenance, machine tools, and CNC machines
  • Must be familiar with troubleshooting and repairing Mazak, Doosan, and Mori machines
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and prints
  • Must have strong math skills
