Title: Business analyst 

Type: 6-month contract, remote 

Compensation: $30-$37/hr

Summary: As a pivotal player in driving process enhancement initiatives, the Business Process Analyst is instrumental in translating client needs into actionable process blueprints and fostering process optimization throughout the organization. This role demands a profound grasp of process architecture, exceptional communication prowess, and adeptness in collaborating across multifunctional teams to yield positive financial outcomes and heightened operational efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes utilizing methodologies like Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma analysis, fishbone, five why, and Pareto.
  • Craft comprehensive process maps, delineating client workflows and prerequisites at both high-level and granular levels, ensuring seamless integration of stakeholder insights.
  • Participate in enterprise-wide process enhancement ventures, adhering to established control procedures to articulate, comprehend, and address all upstream and downstream implications.
  • Sustain and refine process documentation (SOPS) to accurately mirror contemporary practices, encompassing governance frameworks and authorization protocols.
  • Facilitate stakeholder gatherings to solicit requirements, furnish progress updates, and obtain endorsements for process modifications.
  • Obtain approval through the Process Change Control board and execute changes through formal PMO structures.
  • Assist in managing process change endeavors for stakeholders, affected staff, and clientele.
  • Monitor and report on time allocations for activities pertinent to process mapping and documentation.

Skills:

  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen awareness of critical metrics and patterns.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities (managing expectations, etc.)
  • Ability to function autonomously and navigate intricate organizational frameworks.
  • Familiarity with industry norms and optimal methodologies in process design and enhancement.
  • Knowledge of process modeling tools and methodologies, including proficiency in generating swimlane diagrams.
  • Strong organizational acumen, with the capacity to operate proficiently across strategic and operational spheres as necessitated.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
